Monday

Good Afternoon everyone, I hope all of you had a great Father's Day, yesterday! For my Father's day My Mom, Dad, Eric, and I drove down to Gainesville to spend time with my mom's family. It was really fun! It's rare to have the cousins all together and goofing around. We had Kabobs (spelling) and Corn. Typical Steffen meal! haha it was delicious. Near the end of the night the whole family gathered in the Living room (which isn't very big...) and watched one of the movies Eric did the music for at school. Everyone enjoyed the movie and laughed at all the silly jokes. They all thought Eric did a great job on the music. Then we all watched The Miss America pagent, since it was the first thing we saw on. But my family had to go home. My dad had work this morning. So we went home. My dad said it was a great Father's day for him. He really enjoyed it.

Today, I'm going to try and get my Drug and Alcohol test done so I can get my Permit. Probably Wednesday I'll go to the DMV office and take the test and HOPEFULLY get my permit!! Then, Thursday I have a clarinet lesson and then off to Grandma's house!! I can hardly wait. Alot of the time it'll just be Grandma and I, Which I'm really looking forward to. Maybe watch some movies, or play a board game. Great week to look forward to, and it ends with the concert at Downtown Disney on Sunday! I hope everyone elses week is just as fun! Have a good week!

FINALLY BLOGGING.

It's Summer and it's time for free time to blog. Haha. How are all of you? Enjoying your Summer I hope. For me, as I end the week, I am relaxing in the living room with my parents and Jerry and Janice. We just ate hot dogs and my dad and I went for a swim. Now we're watching the Gator baseball game. They're winning 5 to 3 against Texas. Tomorrow we have church and for Father's day we are going to Maggiano's with the family. Probably tomorrow afternoon i'm going to take the Drug and alcohol test for my Driver's permit. Then hopefully by Tuesday or Wednesday I can get my permit. Thursday, I have my lesson at 2:00 and then that night my family is driving down to my Grandma's in Orlando for Eric's Rollins trip. I'll be there from Thursday to Monday. Eric and my Dad (Paul is staying at home) will go home Saturday for church, since Eric has to play Organ, and my mom and I will stay. My friend, Audrey is meeting us at my Grandma's and staying the night, and then Sunday night, my friends Audrey, Aubrey, Candace, and I are going to a concert in Downtown Disney. I'm really looking forward to it. Audrey, my mom and I will stay another night then go home Monday. Well, Happy Father's day all, Have a great week!!

Merry [Early] Christmas!

I hope everyone is having a good winter break. Some of you, though, may still have work. But there is only 2 days till Christmas Eve! Came quickly didn't it? I have all my Christmas gifts done, just a few need to still be wrapped. My mom has been doing that all morning. I haven't done much today, I got a shower and then ate a small lunch while watching Seinfeld with the brothers. I'm starting to get very excited for Christmas, I even have Christmas music playing right now. We have a station that plays Christmas music during this time of year. Yep, "The First Noel" just ended. Now "Sleigh Ride" is on. They are both good songs.

I got some mail today, it was from a middle school friend of mine. Her name is Bobbi. She sent me a Christmas card, she told me she was going too, but even though I knew, I was really glad to know she is still wishing me a Merry Christmas.

I got my gift from Audrey on the last day of school before break. She got me a snowglobe with a picture of us in it, as well as a "K" necklace. The necklace I've been wearing every day since I got it!


...There was a poem on one side of the snowglobe, and picture on the other.

Last night my dad and I spent some time together. It was fun. Paul, Eric, Sarah, and Paul's friend Megan, all went to see "The Black Swan." I heard it was good, but very scary. I'm glad I didn't see it. But my dad and I were left alone because my mom was shopping. So my dad and I went out to find my dad's last minute gifts to get my mom. I think he finished last night. We had a lot of fun though. Lots of laughs. We even went to Zaxby's for dinner! haha.

Quick Update

Hello Everyone!
Happy LATE Thanksgiving! And also Happy early holidays!! I haven't been on here in a while, but I'm now updating. Let's see, Tomorrow is FRIDAY! Yay to that! This week seems like it has gone on forever! Probably because we got back from a 5 day weekend so we are trying to get used to it all again. Today I got my Progress Report, and so did Eric, both of us A's and B's but I can't remember what the grade was for each of my classes, haha. So tomorrow, afterschool Audrey is coming home with me and Eric and Sarah(Eric's Friend) and possibly a few other friends of Eric's too. Eric wants to do a big board game of 6 people! haha He is in this huge Board game phase I guess. Once Eric and Sarah leave for a required piano concert, Audrey, my dad, and I are going to my church for the Christmas decorating, My mom is going Christmas shopping with her friend, Wendie. Paul, I'm not sure of what he is doing. But i'm looking forward to decorating, and then following that Audrey will spend the night and we'll do something the following day, but I don't know what.

The weather here has been great! It's been around the 50's and a bit windy, but I love it! My school is all outdoor so I'm always wearing a coat. Unfourtunately, the cool weather in Florida only lasts so long...

New Wood

So, I got a new clarinet today! I'm pretty excited and I'm looking forward to many many years with it. It's wooden, and it's called and Buffet E11. It's practically new, (only used for 3 months) and we got it for a great price! I can't wait to take it to my Grandma's house tomorrow, as well as seeing her tomorrow too! I haven't seen her since the Anniversary party, and it wasn't for a long time! Then Saturday I get to show my other grandma and my grandpa in Gainesville. We are going down to watch the Gator Game then coming back Sunday. We had a 4 day weekend this weekend.

Eric and my Dad and my Uncle Dave, are up in New York right now! They are college shopping. Today they went to check out Curtis college and Eric liked it, but I guess it's very hard to get in! Tomorrow they go and see Julliard. Tonight, according to Eric, they ate at in Irish pub in Manhattan near Town Square! Lucky them!

Well, maybe I should go play more of my clarinet!!

Happy Late Halloween and Happy November :-)

Happy Late Halloween everyone! and now starts Novemeber!Christmas is right around the corner and Thanksgiving is sooner! This is an awesome part of the year because all the holidays come, and music, no school, football, food, and weather! Well, somewhat, with Florida, the weather just gets a little colder, but its better than the blazing hot!

Well Tomorrow is All State results! I'm a little bit nervous, and I don't think I was accepted in, but im still anxious! Oh well...

I'm not sure how this week looks actually. Tomorrow I know Toy Story 3 comes out on DVD yay! It's such a good movie, but it's so sad! Well, I better get going! I have a Biology project to get done! Until next time, Bye!

Go Gators?

So I have been going to the Gator games, and they just haven't been therselves lately. We haven't won that many, and the fans are getting bored, oh well I guess, can't win them all!

Anyway, Let's see how this week looks.

Monday: I have A test in Gym on Flag Football, which is so stupid, yet I don't know everything I need to know about it. Eric says in order for me to learn, we are going to have to play Madden on the Gamecube or Wii so I can learn, probably will play that later today. We'll have to see how THAT goes. Also Monday I have to retake my Geometry test that I didn't do great on. I have to do well on it or my grade WON'T be good on my report card... Following school on Monday, I have to stay after for a Band Rehearsal, Our Concert is Tuesday.I'm not sure how that'll go, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Tuesday: Like I said we have a Band Concert. Unfourtunately, We are only playing two pieces at this concert, titled, Sun Dance, and Symphonic Prelude: "Black is the color of my True Love's Hair." I wish we were playing more pieces, but i'm not even sure how well the 2 we have now will go.

Wednesday: Is an Early Release day, So we'll get out of school at 2:10 instead of 3:25 which is alway nice. I'll hopefully have a Clarinet lesson then too, because I need a lesson!

As far as Thursday goes, i'm not sure what's on the calendar for Thursday.
Friday: I prepare for Gainesville with the rest of the family, aside from my mom because she'll already be in Gainesville for a class reunion, but we are all getting ready for my Grandparents 50th reunion!
For the reunion I'm preparing a slideshow of a million pictures my grandparents have taken, including wedding, kids, grandkids, etc. And also I'll be singing with my cousin, Samantha, and playing "The Entertainer" a favorite song of my grandma nad grandpa, on clarinet. I'm really looking for to this party, but until then, I need to get my homework done, and the slideshow too! Have a great week everyone!!
